Developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness through life's most incredible adventures.
The Mission
What is Scouting?
Scouting is a program that prepares you for life in multiple ways. Scouts BSA is a program for youth ages 10β17 (5thβ12th grade) where both boys and girls can experience adventures in the great outdoors, learn about service to their community, develop leadership skills, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Outdoor Skills
Mastery of the environment through primitive skills and respect for nature.
Peer Leadership
Opportunities to share, teach, lead, and learn from peers through real decisions.
Our Impact
Why Troop 175?
Outdoor Adventures
Monthly camping trips, hiking expeditions, and high-adventure programs where scouts build real skills and lasting confidence in the great outdoors.
Character & Family
Our program is built on a foundation of character, family, and fun. We guide scouts through merit badges, service projects, and leadership development.
Community Service
Scouts give back through service projects, parades, flag ceremonies, and community events β learning the value of helping others at every meeting.
The Scout Oath
"On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;"
"To help other people at all times;"
"To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight."
